Description

Honestly, when I first saw this manga, I had doubts about how good it was. But after reading it, I came to love this manga. The beginning has a slow start, but after that it get very good. There's betrayal, lies, and enticing plot twists. I give this a solid 9.5/10
This manga has nice art, which makes up for the poor plot and character development...somewhat. I feel that the plot is underwhelming, and personalites of characters change so quickly and ...it's hard to comprehend (look at Crow, for instance.)
I don't feel any emotional connections with the characters, except when Ganta does something stupid and immature and I want to bash him over the head with my dining table.
The beginning was good, and it looked like it had alot of potential. But the whole thing... I feel like the story could have been told better, somehow.
Artwork is really the only thing that is keeping me from quitting this already.

Looking for a stupid manga? Look no further then this. The plot is idiotic, the characters are totally predictable. About the only thing this manga has going for it is the art. I read the first volume, then skipped to the 8th, and didn't feel like I had missed a single thing. If you're looking for a well drawn, story that makes you dumber just by looking at it, you can't do better then this one. If you're looking for anything else, keep looking, you won't find it in this idiotic manga.
I like this one. dark and awesome, the atmosphere makes me shiver in anticipation. The characters make me smile. Everything works pretty well, the vengeance, the romance, the powers. There is blood and gore, cowards should not read but... no, read it. Even with the mayhem, it is just amazing. I have no other words to describe it and I will choose not to write a whole essay about it.

I loved it. I read it straight from the first chapter to chapter 42. I can't wait for the ending! This is a very good read. I have tried reading gory mangas before (e.g., Gantz and Psyren). None really worked for me. Too bloody and I guess too much for me. This one, though, I liked. Looking forward to the anime!
i like this manga alote it has good character development and deals with dark theme( i like dark manga..well dark anything really). the only thing about this is that is similar to another manga and i hope it has a better ending than that one. over all it's pretty cool and their is an anime coming out in 2011

*solve this question...but this answer lead to more questions...
*new arc...go to step 1
and its like this...
but kinda solved some, almost none questions...
but i think the mangaka never had ideas to continue this manga after arc 1...
so...he hasnt new questions to lead us by...
and with this...this new arc... is mainly an filler...leading to nothing...and making us bored
but now all this seem's kinda over used...

I starting to find this manga a bit boring, and nothing special despite it being a good idea I can't really see the plot going anywhere. It could be because I've read 23 chapters straight so I'm gonna take a break but still. The weapons are a good idea and there's always questions, but the prison annoys me because it's kinda become irrelevant.

When I started reading Deadman Wonderland, I though it would be a great manga. And in fact, in the beginning it was great. The author had an amazing idea to the plot. But it seems he's trying to extend the history too much. The arc we are in, is really boring. It is an unecessary arc. The central idea of the manga was great, there was no need for this. Well, I hope the story go back to what it was, because if it keeps going the way it is, it'll become a horrible manga...
I don't know why, but there is something in these manga that takes me in, and capture me in a prison.
The only explanation that I have, is that the mangaka has talent.
I really recommand this one for people that likes stories with a lot of action, where there is danger behind every corner.
Warning: There is also much blood and violence in this one.
