Description
From honyakusha:

By coincidence, college student Morimoto reunites with his former teacher, Jinno. After having a meal together, Jinno is touched by Morimoto’s home cooking, and they end up eating together almost every day! However, sometimes when they’re enjoying their meals, Morimoto will have a sad look in his eyes. Jinno may have forgotten, but he’d dismissed Morimoto’s confession in the past…

It was nice to read something without any drama or cliched misunderstandings.

Typical slice of life romance

There's nothing about that this manga that truly stood out, be it the story, the setting, the characters, even down to the art, and the execution seems to do its job to amplify that mild and mellow atmosphere exuding from the nature of the main couple's relationship itself. Which, as a result, left me with no particularly strong opinion on it as well, whether positive or vice versa. It got the point across fine and I understood what the author intended to convey, but it was also quite subdued and never went further than that to study its characters' emotions on a deeper level. The manga almost feels shy and reserved in its approach to presenting its subject to the audience. I don't dislike what I read but I certainly didn't grow very attached to it either.

Lacked love

It was cute, well developed and the art is gold!! But something was lacking, and I can say it's 70% of sensei's fault, he didn't exactly showed that he loved Shun at all, it felt like it was just a convenient thing, like oh he cooks very well, he's cute and he cares about me, I think I can just go with flow -thing. In that sense I'm very disappointed

At the end of the day, it's just fine. I did like the characters but, as much as we spend with them, they don't feel memorable. There's something missing; it's wholesome but with not that much substance. Maybe it's Jinno's personality—which, fine, I don't mind airheaded adults, but he was a bit too laidback and easy-going? And it was an odd choice to test Shun like that, especially when he already had an idea that Shun had feelings for him.

As stated by some people below, I couldn't finish reading this because the teacher seemed like he only wanted the other guy around to be his housekeeper or smth. He totally seemed like he was taking advantage of the student's feelings for him and making him doing house chores for him lol. The art is cute tho but the plot is just bad.

the plot wasn't catching and the art style was decent.
it was a waste of time reading this.
there's no love. I'm quite sure shun is in love (of course he is) but sensei only loves the food shun makes and about testing the love shun has for him was so pathetic and annoying. now he has a housekeeper. good for him.

A Light Read

Sensei needs to do better. Honestly, it’s airhead characters like Jinno who bother me a lot with their wishy-washy style of life and how dense they are. Due, do you love Morimoto or not? Would it kill you to show it a little? If it’s not a love that you are fine with walking away with then that’s no love at all. And with that said, I absolutely adore this. Jinno gets better as a character. Even as both Morimoto and Jinno are lacking in character depth in similar ways, they make up for this with their lovey-doveyness and lighthearted atmosphere. And of course, the art is to kill for.
