Well, this is one of my limited forays into shoujo stuff and I think the beginning was stronger than how things progressed? The last few chapters just felt like way too sudden to throw some new informations at us, although I was sad to see how certain things ended.
It was neat to see certain romances develop, but the focus was heavily focused on Yashiro and Kenta which... were a little boring since I didn't get any thrill from the lack of development in their realization (er... mostly Kenta's) feelings for the other.

This one is really great. It's so rare for a manga to acknowledge bisexuality. Judging by a few of the reviews, I guess the message it implies, that the shell of a person does matter, is controversial to some people, but I think it's a fine message. If you stop/start loving someone after they go through a drastic physical change, it doesn't mean that your love isn't genuine. You loved them in that moment, and no one can take that away from you.
When every shoujo in existence wants to paint idealistic pictures of love that transcends space, time, gender, status and looks, it's quite unique for one say, "Hey, you loved this person when they presented a certain way, and now that they look drastically different, you don't feel that spark anymore. That's okay, that's normal. It doesn't make your love fake or shallow, it doesn't mean you didn't truly love them, and it doesn't make you a bad person."

I thought that it was pretty clear that the series would be a bl from the start. The mc confesses as a guy and the only reason he wished to turn into a girl was so his friend would be attracted to him and like him back romantically, not because he wanted to actually be a female. I don’t think the mc really thought about his actions lol.
I think that this series is super enjoyable if you are fine with gender-bender, bl, and gl. It is definitely a really unique bl and I hope the author writes more sometime 👀

I really loved this manga. Also I am bisexual and I am noticing some other bisexuals here in the reviews feeling similar. This was genuinely perfect for me. There was one moment, but, certainly didn't ruin anything for me.
I would say this manga is great for bisexual people, less good for trans people. This is not a trans fantasy kind of manga. There was an actual trans character in this, but that would be the part that made me uncomfortable. I have trans friends IRL.... but the trans character seemed ok. you know (like emotionally)?
I related to this manga heavily. There is a Genki Girl in this who I really really loved. So much of this I loved.

ahhh, this was cute (o´▽`o)
this is not your typical gender-bender, and I'm very glad about that. I think that it'd be a waste if gender change actually helped with lgbt problems. I personally feel that that'd be... well, somehow false.
It was quite an interesting read, though I do think that there were a bit too many orientations for what?.. something like 8 recurring characters and 5 volumes. That's a bit too high a concentration XD But I have the same worldview as mangaka, and I'm bi, so I don't really care.
Anyway, if you're on a diet of yaoi, and want yourself a bit of shoujo with overtones that would be up your alley, I think that this is the choice. I do sometimes miss shoujo, but I think that I'm too far gone for it now XD

Had a strong opening and then went to waste when the yaoi plotline showed up. Went from a 9 to a 1 in like chapter lol.
"Tired of gender bender as a trope to weasel out of lgbt romance?"
Yes, of course the T is never considered. Just your average transerasure.
"Gender-bender reincarnation is stupid"
You shut your mouth, gender bender is the pinnacle of fiction.

Tired of gender bender as a trope to weasel out of lgbt romance? This one looks like it fits that bill but surprisingly, it doesn't follow through. Yes, it is still a plot device, but it has its merit and helps move the characters forward in their growth and their relationship.
Give this one a try!
(Also for anyone who cares, this gender bender manga has acknowledgment of transness and has a quick appearance of an actual transgender character. Almost fell outta my chair reading it.)

This is exactly the type of manga I hate when they turn guy into girl to make romance right. Can't they make shoujo manga with bxb romance like 80th mangakas did? It still shoujo but without stupid gender bender reincarnation. C'mone!! This kind of plot solving is extremely dumb.
