Description
Mahoro Harukana moves to Tokio to achieve the dream of becoming an Idol. In order to do this, Mahoro will assist to the National Entretainment and Music School in Kamisaka. Everything goes surprisinly well, being great at singing and dancing, and even her teammates are astonished by her talent.
The only problem is that... Mahoro is actually a boy, and a boy who wants to become The King of the Idols!

I don't know how well it'll work as a longer series but it should be good as a short series and a short read.
The problem is that no sane author trying to "come back" will make a damn Trap protagonist.This is a shonen manga.Are you a girl that likes a cute boy with a big "cannon" sure,but no sane male reader will like it.
And this will also undermine anything serious that wakaki will even try to do.Its sales are horrible for a reason .
The first two volumes suffer from the offputting mahoro cannon,with wierd filler chapters as well.Shame that the idol setting is actally good and not as lazy as in modern idol anime,though still embarassingly bad compared to The World God Only knows.There is a scientific system for projecting thoughts into visuals and its actually detalied.Ultimately, wakaki should have not ended TWGOK.The bad severely outweighs the good in King Of Idol.Having "written songs"does not help either.
What happens in volume three is an attempt to create TWGOK-style cracters arcs in the manga.Stories about dreams,passions and ideals.The problem is the TWGOK manga ending,which shows that all ideals are 2D trash.Wakaki Tamiki wrote the worst hyprocritcal ending in the history of anime and manga,axing twgok just for its otp.Since wakaki never admiited he was wrong about his pairing,everybody sane will catch on his lying.King of Idol could easliy end with an ending that says all Idols are delusional.Wakaki has shown he can betray readers in the bat of an eyelid.
This manga is going to get axed.It has no convictions.It is made by an author with no sense of integrity.It is contradictory due to it being a trap idol series while trying to give character arcs .Shame that this should have been Twgok meets battle shonen,something more sane than King Of Idol.
So when will Shonen Sunday have some common sense to fire wakaki and make him end up in the streets?Complete failure of manga.This manga towards the end,pushed for some Yaoibait then went for a Sena X Mahoro focus.So random and forced.Wakaki really could write better,but he was simply too damn lazy.Where were the character arcs?were were the themes?Why doesnt anything make sense at all.....
Nobody sane accepted Keima × Chihiro for over 9000 reasons.Why can't wakaki admit Keima x Chihiro was wrong and formally apologize?In KOI it really showed he did not give a damn about why it was wrong.The Japanese, rightfully made him pay big time for that trash.Wakaki does not have the dignity to even do that so what ever manga he will write will be doomed to fail form the start.The thing is,there have been other authors who learnt from their mistakes why cant he?
Why didn't Wakaki make a sequel manga based on TWGOK,but expanding the amazingly original hell lore kaminomi had.However no more Keima,to end the backlash.Think mangas like UQ holder.It will allow wakaki to be creative and reslove the bad blood!Common Sense!Alas, its obvious that Wakaki Tamiki literally went mad after TWGOK.You can tell when you read KOI,that things are horrible on purpose and has no structure.
If he just cant,why not just make a harem ecchi manga with twgok artstyle,at least it will not be boring!
Or Make a battle shonen with Twgok themes.Look at me!I am using basic common sense,something that even a 5 year old can understand!If anyone did what wakaki did post twgok,they desrve to be locked in an asylum!
