Read volume 1 of Prologue + chapter 1

From reading the translated chapters to looking at the description texts to looking at the novel illustration; I can totally see this novel as rom-com when other characters start showing up.

They are transported into a game world in a sense, sort of, kind of. The only person who are left out in the dark is our MC. Our MC's mother have being brief before the transport. Let just put in another way; our MC and MC's Mother are now (live in) beta tester in the game world. They cannot exit the game until some type of goal are achieve or recognized by our MC (I assume, as the reader) that are set up by the Japaneses government who created this game.

Our MC: A typical teenage boy that going through high school life

Our MC's mother: A 40 year old female that doesn't act or look like her age that even our MC question from time to time if she even a mother or better yet his mother. She like to dote his son in which our MC found annoying and she clueless on why.

If you wondering about the title of this novel, it about Our MC's mother (who a complete Noob in gaming) with two (hero like) over power swords while our MC only have one (hero like) sword. Let look it at this way, our MC sword attack are like a bolt-action sniper rifle while our MC's mother sword are like bulldozer gone through the area.
