It doesn't take much reading (say, Ch.2 onward) to realize that the real protagonist of the story is, in fact, one of the "harem members". It's unusual in a harem manga for the story to be told mainly from the perspective of one of the heroines instead of the male MC.
It's kinda refreshing. I like it.
In fact, this isn't even a story that revolves around one generic guy and his cliche "romance" with cookie-cutter heroines. If that's what you expected, this isn't it. The plot mainly revolves around the survival strategies of the various "heroines" and the battle of wits that ensue.
