It's a blatant "19 Days" clone for the first 60 or so chapters, before coming into its own with real character development & background stories, & I'm okay with that, & it's DAMN funny. Frankly, by 100, they're actually staring to remind me of Urameshi & Kuwabara from "Yu Yu Hakusho." By 200 they are more like Chill & Grill from "On The Hill."

This takes place in a Murphy's Law world where literally anything that can go wrong will.

The albino MC; Jin Zhan (Justin), started off as a delinquent pervert who gets progressively flanderized into a absolute dog-brain as the series progresses, becoming a manchild with the emotional & intellectual brain of a naive overly-trusting 5 year old who never questions any rumor thrown his way. His prior perversions are thrown out the window as he becomes incredulously innocent but mistaken for a pervert due to unfortunate circumstances. He's so wholesome it hurts. He believes that love & gender have nothing to do with eachother & just wants a kiss every now & then. Seriously, he is like a dog. Excited, loving, loyal, innocent, dumb, barks at threats, marks his territory, does not respect personal space, slobbers & pounces on loved ones.

Yu Shu (Ian) is a high-strung on-edge panicky tsundere, but only losees his temper with his best friend. Early in the series he gets into street fights while maintaining his role as a top student. His design becomes progressively more femenine & his personalitybecomes more of a straight-laced student trying to avoid trouble, which nearly always backfires because he is a compulcive liar who is always trying to hide things. He wants to remain just-friends.

The valentines special Umbrella Rose reminds me of the Sock Rose Jian Yi gave Zhan Zheng-Xi's sister in 19 Days.

Super pissed about the westernizing name job from the translators. I want the original Chinese names of the characters.

Du Sha (Trisha) is this series' Xiao Hui, but instead of being a threat to the relationship, her goal is to play cupid & be the everywoman that represents the audience. She succeeds magnificently at this & is VERY popular with the readers. She is also a manipulative troll.

Their fathers have been ship-teased together since they first bumped into eachother. It's most likely that they are just a huge tease & running gag, & the author is trolling us, because they probably won't divorce their wives. They'd also probably also be too weirded out by them hooking up when they think their sons are dating eachother.

The families of the protagonists play a huge role in the series. Jin Zhan/Justin's flaky mom wants grandkids but both of her sons are on the verge of being in gay relationships. His brother hates men & discovers that his girlfriend is a crossdresser. Feeling betrayed, his ex-girlfriend Molly befriends the protagonists & tries to convince the brother to at least accept him as a friend.

Yu Shu/Ian's dad is an ex-cop turned baker who is overly leniant with his son while also being super suspicious. He has no clue of his son's school brawls or part time job at as a host at a strip club. Ian feels horrible for constantly lying to his dad but can't stop hiding things from him.

The boys find this hideous baby with heterochromia they name Kitty. It looks like a raw plucked chicken. They want to raise it together, but not like a married couple. They essentially give it to Tasha to raise as another Fujoshi.

The author posted links to these fully voice acted semi-animated versions of the first few episodes.

There is also a live action TV series in which zero effort was put into making the actors look like their comic counterparts. Disappointing, given how god tier Chinese cosplay is.

Although it starts really gag-like and is utterly hilarious, it does end up having continuous plot points and their relationship truly progresses from just funny classmates to bffs who share their problems with one another. Did I mention it was hilarious? The faces are drawn to perfectly portray the situations and you could honestly figure out what's happening without the translation lmao. It gives me 19 Days vibes with how the bromance is strong and how one guy is carefree and the other more straight-laced, but the chapters are longer and there's only one set of bffs lmao

I've only gotten to read 4 chapters o this (and a cross over special with D. Jun's Here U Are) and I'm in love with it. It's hilarious and adorable and I've physically laughed out loud at each chapter.
I truly hope someone picks this up to finish scanning it, because just those few chapters really made my day.
