Description
Tsubaki is a well-liked and very rich high schooler whose mother usually works. One day while coming home from school, Tsubaki was shocked to find that his mother brought back her new boyfriend, Reiichi. Reiichi is a nice person, but he likes touching Tsubaki intimately, confusing the young and innocent Tsubaki. After Reiichi confesses to falling in love with Tsubaki, he becomes even more confused.

The dialogue in this manga is like flat soda. But the situation is kinda yummy, though not well executed.

To be honest, I have read a lot of messed up manga but this one is just one of the worst. It lures you in with beautiful art style and gives you quite a tragic story, which makes it pretty good up to chapter 3. Then it does something absolutely disgusting,
The mother reaction is just the worst and truly despicable.
I get that there are mangas who show all kinds of fucked up shit but at least they show that it is bad to do that or you need to come a long way to be forgiven. This one shows that no matter what you do, there is no consequences, it is just wrong on so many levels.

when Reiichi just rapes the boy out of nowhere, runs away and Tsubaki runs after him with approval from his mother!

Tsubaki tells her everything and she welcomes Reiichi like a long lost rebel kid, while he deceived, lured and totally damaged her underaged child. Even the manga clearly states that Tsubaki was a nice, sheltered boy who does not know how to say 'no' to people's expectations, which made him so easily deceived. But it's all fine that Reiichi has done it, because he 'loves Tsubaki' and now he 'understood and changed'. Such a bullshit. If you have a character who wants to rape an underaged child and decives him to love him, make him do it and then makes the victim run after him and welcomes him back with all the adults approving this, it really makes readers sick.

even though I knew where this story was going, it had some really nice tension built up in the beginning. I felt that whether the seme would ultimately turn out to be a bastard or turn a new leaf didn't matter because the built up relationship with the uke was satisfying and the tension of the rug being pulled out from underneath him was nicely done.
unfortunately halfway through, the mangaka decided that instead of deciding if the seme should be a good or bad guy, she tried to have it both ways. It doesn't work that way, it just introduced cheap drama and unbelievable recovery from assault. ugh. honestly it felt like the rape scene was only thrown in there for titillation's sake, especially since you have an underage uke. gross. do better next time.
