These characters are simply superb. This is one of those works of fiction where I become so invested with the characters that I would be willing to forgive the occasional plot hole. The plot lines are straight-forward, but focused, fast paced, and well executed. Sadly having read this in Chinese I can't speak for the quality of the scanlation (not to mention it's very far behind), so your mileage may vary, but the few pages I checked out looked competent enough.

The closest experience I had to binge reading this over the last 24 hrs was from binge reading Chihayafuru. I enjoyed Chihayafuru a lot, but as of this moment, I liked this one even more. Though of course both series still being unfinished, so it's premature to make any pronouncements.

I am mainly reading for the petty drama and the gorgeous art, and this manhua satisfies both of those criteria. While the story does feel a bit overwhelming with too many characters at once sometimes, it does manage to stay focused on the main set of characters. I do wish the author introduced more characters in the beginning so we could stay more emotionally involved with them.
