It's really fun to watch the main character develop as a person. His interactions with people evolve as the series progresses and show that sort of spark that gives life meaning. The girl who is terminal has her own sort of light and it's very clear that she has left her mark on the world.

Great manga. Excellent pace of the story, no drags or lulls in it, male lead is a bit on the colder and remote side, appears emotionless and exists in an escapist state by only engaging with books. Female lead is vibrant and loves life and spreads joy everywhere and thanks to her the unlikely friendship begins.

Unlikely friendships are fun to read about because of the vast difference in experience comes into a clash and both parties or at least one is better off and learns important things. Ending is interesting and abrupt like life can be and the lesson learned from it if any is good.

Enjoyed this immensely.

It's actually very light and playful up until a point. It's definitely up there with Kimi no na wa and The girl who leapt through time. The ending will not end how you expect even with some visible signs throughout of the possibilities. That being said it somehow makes things even more realistic.
