No research was made on these kinks. The main protagonists' relatioship was not built up properly, everything started after dubious/non existing consent (the uke was coerced into it) and rape and the author randomly made the uke develop feelings for his abuser out of the blue and the abuser explained that he also felt things for his victim without explaining anything. It was full of plot-holes in an already empty plot, it was poorly-executed, it was not at a level to be produced as a volume. The publishing company should pick their projects carefully and not publish something like that again. Also the art was not great. The uke's head was considerably bigger than his body. The proportions weren't right at all.

Another work made for that purpose. I'd say it's more gay porn/hentai than yaoi, so taking this work seriously is undoubtedly a misunderstanding. Usually there's a lot of humour in SM kind of stories, this one isn't a comedy, it's more serious. The characters are twisted, each in his own way but that's to be expected from main characters of "SM games". It's a bit too extreme for my taste but putting that aside it's quite good. Unfortunately the art isn't as pretty as the cover. If you like works tagged with BDSM, Bondage, Hardcore, Sex Toy you will like this one as well.

I myself am not into SM, but I do understand the philosophy, the idea - if only a bit. Knowing what I do, and seeing this - this is not real SM. SM without real consent, SM without trust, SM without a safeword... Seriously, this frustrated me to no end, I suppose about as much as some might feel about how rape is depicted in manga. At least, we all should know that rape is bad - and SM is an accepted practice. I don't want to think that someone could learn from this.
