Love the art

I adore the way she draws, not just the faces but mostly the way she uses angles, POVs, from below, above, etc. It gives a very immersed kind of feeling to me as a reader. It's unique...I haven't seen anyone else do it quite like that outside of covers and special pages

I'm high on the art. Literally.

Damn, I just love those drawings, I'm quite sure those are the best sex scenes I've seen in Machiya Hatoko's manga and one of the best sex scenes in yaoi in general. With various positions, perfect body proportions and chiaroscuro, dizzy eyes and skin dripping with sweat characters look so real, so human, you almost feel their feverish breaths on your face. It feels like if you reached your hand you could touch them. The art is amazing, I'm totally smitten.

Putting aside the art, there's still a plot. It's not groundbreaking, but typical? come on, it's a BL, it has to be about love and between at least two guys, on this level every yaoi manga is the same. The story is good, it has nice flow, funny moments and likeable characters, the pace is just right and it's not shallow. Among other it's about creating opportunities that change people's lives, about taking responsibility for your own and other people's actions (even if you hate it) also about reaching a point of no return and becoming an adult. Characters are down to earth so real-life-like troubles and obstacles fit story the best. Sho's silly reactions like running away are typical for his age, same goes for Tokio's half-assed attitude, but it's also a self-defence mechanism. They have to grow in order to fix their lives. Of course there's more into the story, I only mentioned a few things.

I like this story a lot but I'd like to see more of them together and also more background for mister florist. Mangaka could develop his part some more, in the end there are still parts unknown about him and ending came out a lil flat... but nobody's perfect. I had a lot of fun and the art is just amazing.

I'm frantically a fan of Machiya Hatoko' art style and art flow since Mata Ashita, the characterization is always great, the emotions are on point and not excessive.
The only minus is that some of the stories would benefit spaning on more chapters to be get better development.
This one too, delivers admirably and the story goes on through a whole volume, leaving space for drama to develop and end.
I don't know how I could ask for more.

I actually enjoyed reading this manga, and although it's not perfect or too impressive, the characters really won me over with how sincere and loveable they are. It's a sweet, simple story with many even sweeter moments that could easily warm you up inside on a cold winter night. The mangaka truly did "go back to basics" like she said in her afterword comment, and I like that a lot.

This was a typical BL story but because it was a whole volume long, it did not feel rushed. The pace was just right.
The art is very unique. I loved the way the eyes were drawn, so expressive but different for each character. I didn’t like how the mouths were drawn when they were wide open though.
