I read this just before a much darker, angstier manga, which had bad reviews, but I loved it. This one, on the other hand, was way too fluffy for me, but it has good reviews. Go figure.
I do think the genre "adult", "yaoi" and the categories are misleading. The cover too. It [i/]does[/i] seem like it'll be deep, which is what I look for, so I normally wouldn't read something light like this. Do I regret reading it? No, it's alright, but it's pretty simple, not memorable. It should be labeled as "funny" or "smut", something that will make people know it's a silly one.
The story itself is ok, fun, nothing special, but I don't particularly like neither Suzukuni nor Shizuka. Suzukuni is persistent, I'll give him that, but he's too lovey-dovey to be the seme, not my type at all. Which makes it seem like Shizuka is the seme. He's a slightly better character, but there really isn't much of a story there. It's quite obvious he falls in love pretty quickly, so why fight it, really?
There isn't much of a conflict, either, and it's easily solved. It's a quick read and a good one if you don't want to think too much, I guess. Not really much else to say.
