Description

As previously stated, it's a rather simplistic story with absolutely immaculate art. I did find myself wanting to know more about Mike and Ethan - but, especially Mike! There seemed to be some implications to what his past was like, but we didn't get much clarification regarding that. I suppose that could also be apart of its charm, having a sort of mystique. Still, I couldn't help wanted to know more about Mike and how he got to where he was.

That said, I do enjoy these no-stakes sort of BL. It's simplicity didn't compromise the emotions CTK was trying to convey in the least. All in all, a good read, though it does leave a bit to be desired.

Thought it was going to be a dark plot but it turned out a lot simpler and more light-hearted than imagined. The story was simple, tho borders on boring. The artwork is amazing tho, and the characters are cute. I wish the uke is a little more open with his feelings, it felt like he had no character development up till the end.

This story turned out to be a lot more simple and straightforward than the impression it first gave, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Both Ethan and Mike are really cute (despite how buff and tough they look lol) so it's still relatively fun to read about them no matter how ordinary their story might be. Also the art is absolutely scrumptious; all the men look very sexy and attractive in their own unique ways. Overall this is definitely a step up from On Doorstep imo.

I quite like it, but I can't escape the feeling of wanting more. I wish one or two more chapters were added that portrayed their life after Ethan paid off his debt. Alas, one can't wish for the impossible.

I liked the characters and the setting. In a sense, the plot wasn't really original, but it was refreshing to see mature characters and a good phasing. The Art was, as always by CTK, gorgeous.

There's a bara tag in the categories, but imo these dudes just look like real men. They're broad and tall and masculine-looking in a very natural way, which I didn't know could be such a turn on, but it is. I actually don't like yaoi with bara because the characters are usually absurdly round, muscular, and weird-looking, like they've got big pockets of marshmallows under their skin. I don't like that, and this is definitely not that. The characters in this manga are just...mm mm, delicious! Ethan and Mike are so sexy together, I just can't even with these two. Speaking of which, man this mangaka really knows how to convey sensuality and sexual tension. The close up shots of eyes, lips, nose, profile, jawline, etc are so perfectly done during those intimate scenes that even just reading it, I felt that electric tension rising in me. Ooooh, this manga is so yummy! Please give me 5+ volumes of this, CTK-sensei.
