The last chapter was funny and yet so "awww.." - cute romantic ending in which you think their love was destiny. I'm not usually crazy about this type of sugar ending but it did make me smile and feel fuzzy inside - am I in a good mood today?

I don't know if I was reading the same story as the others cause I didn't find this manga to be all that great. I didn't love any of the characters, and although I agree that Ryo can be really cute and charismatic I just can't see how so many people would become obsessed with him. It boggles the mind.

It's an okay story, but after half a volume I caught myself thinking 'doesn't it end soon?', which is a BAD BAD BAD BAD sign. I got bored, really.

And why the HELL doesn't Ryo get any traumas from being raped? What the hell?
Mostly good

Quite cute and funny ^__^
Although if i'm honest I think it could've ended after the first volume. Chapter 4 ends so sweetly and makes you feel like they were destined to be together, yet it wasn't too saccharine as there was enough humour to keep it from being over the top.
But then along came volume 2, which really seemed too surreal (like the person below mentioned) I understand that Ryou had a horrible past and it is nice that we can see how much things have changed for him and how happy he is now he has Yajima in his life, but I just felt like Ryou lost his sparkle in the 2nd volume. I just mean that at first, he was a persistent uke that was strong and would fight back, but then in the second he doesn't fight as much. Instead he just goes with the flow. In the first 2 chapters of vol 2, I suppose he couldn't really have fought back any more than he did
Also the last chapter of vol 2 wasn't particularly great either...
So all-in-all, the characters are loveable, the plot is quite interesting, and it is worth reading again... but only the first volume (in my opinion). I don't think i'll be reading the second again, especially as the first finishes in such a nice way. So I'm personally a bit disappointed because it does go down hill, but i'd still recommend this as it starts off so well.

as his life was literally on the line
but then in the 3rd chapter when we meet his old friend I just thought "why aren't you doing anything?!" Spoiler (mouse over to view)
firstly in the new place they are viewing when the other guy presses Ryou against the window, I didn't understand why he didn't push him off, instead it was Yajima who (as always) had to pull him away. Then later on when the guy tries to force himself on Ryou in his & Yajima's home, all Ryou says is something along the lines of not doing anything there as it's Yajima's home too. The other guy even seems to kiss him and probably would've gone further if Yajima hadn't rushed in at the right time.
So I thought it was a shame that Ryou had basically lost his independence, as he needed Yajima to save him all the time. Also there were some things that made little sense to me Spoiler (mouse over to view)
like how could Yajima suddenly move when he had been drugged? Why didn't Ryou cry or make a bit more of a fuss when he was forced to do the s&m stuff? (Yeah he did a little, but surely you'd put up even more of a struggle if you were forced into that situation) And how could they both just shake the whole s&m/kidnap/almost-death thing off like it was no big deal? Also it annoyed me how Ryou said that the killer was a good guy! I know he kinda blamed himself, thinking that it was his fault the guy had become obsessed, but he still kidnapped, tortured then killed 3 innocent boys, then was going to do the same thing to Ryou (and probably would've killed Yajima too in the end)
Also the last chapter of vol 2 wasn't particularly great either...

Owaa, such a cute story! ^^ Yajima is so cool and he fits perfectly as the role model of a good cop and kind man. Ryo is so cute and passionate as well. this pair is one of the best ones I have seen so far.
Great one!

It gives you mixed feelings. Makes you laugh one second and the next second it takes you into angsty. I liked it. The uke specially. The first time I was reading this, the first feeling I got for uke is a typical play boy going after a straight guy for benefits and the seme falling for him. But nope that's not it. The uke has a really dark past and so does the seme. As you go more through the story it gets better. Though it has a arc'ed feeling to it but there's an overall plot going on. As each story goes on it reveals more. Read it. It's a good read
decent.... BL stuff! :P

it was a nice read, the only thing i have to point out is that according to the plot, the uke met the most dangerous guys, one after the other as he grew up. criminals, phychos, perverts. the plot was getting so surreal as the story progressed but anyway, it's not a manga that'll get you emotional or something. still i liked it.
Not my cup of tea

Extremely unrealistic and oversimplified police cases. The uke just kept blaming his sad circumstance for being a whore, and most of the guys are so gross, killers, perverts, psychos. After getting involved with all those kinds of guy, you would think he knows how to defend himself but no. This policeman is lucky for getting such guy as his lover, now he can solve so many cases now since his uke is like a criminal bait, so defenseless, slutty and dumb.
It's really cute~

The guy with his tear mole is so sexy and cute. His character is cute too (I mean, he's not acting stupidly and irritatingly like some other uke that I've known so far). I love this kind of manga in which the couple fall so much in love and truly trust each other. Ahh~, how touching!!!
