I love the unusual aspects of this story: the promiscuous middle aged uke, the monster seme is not secretly beautiful, the lack of insta-love...I could go on. Overall it's a very heartwarming story, but it's not fluffy—there's plenty of drama, in a way that feels genuine. This manages to avoid a lot of BL cliches.

The official English translation from Yen Press is well worth the cost of purchase.

An absolutely adorable big monster, a snarky yet kind old wizard, what more do you need in a power couple? It's such an easy premise, but executed with such grace and care. The story has mystery and adventure elements, and there will be spicy NSFW scenes, that are hot, consensual, wholesome, and most of all, BIG SIZE KINK. The English licensed version is excellent as well, and I highly recommend buying the physical version to support this little niche pearl of a work!

The premise is just so unique and fantastic I was immediately hooked! I love the character design of the demon and I definitely teared up multiple times over how sweet and lonely he is.
There are translations up to ch 5 but I couldn't wait and bought the first two volumes on the Google play store
