I picked this up after it was already completed. I was hoping to binge it on Webnovel but it took me longer to read than expected. Maybe the time skips towards the end got confusing for me because I didn’t read it continually.
The story got really complicated at the end and felt a little rushed. The main couple kind of got a happy ending [in a new world (think multiple realities) ]. But in the end neither admitted to having the memories from their prior life and are choosing to be suffering separately from the aftermath.
There was a secondary couple their ending was super unclear again maybe it’s because I didn’t read it continually or binge but I just don’t understand whether they ended up together or not (Luo Ling and Li King of Chujiang).
Also for everyone else there was no ending given - the ending was only for the two main couples who both died in their original world/reality to make it to this new world.

UPDATE - I just reread the ending and the secondary couple also died in the main world and ended up in the same multiverse reality as the primary couple living a peaceful life. However it is still unclear if they retained any of their memories from the previous life. Only Lou Ling is shown to have dreams of the previous life.
