While what MondSemmel says is not wrong I think he gave up too soon cause there are some good explanations for all that. Also, he doesn't become strong, the story starts saying he was the strongest person in the world..., I'll just leave it at that to avoid spoiling anything. As for him being a villian, all MC's usually kill characters by the dozens and might as well be villians and many are imo, what differentiates the two is if what they do is just or not, at least that's how I see it. Actually, I will go further and say that when a story is good, most of the times the villain is not actually bad per se but has different motives and their actions are justified by his sense of values.
Also, all that happens till ch45 or so might as well be considered the prologue of the story so I don't know where it will go from here but so far it's at least an interesting take into the Wuxia genre.
Story so far is quite good, characters are a mix, thou there is clearly something going with the MC (very easy to guess by now I'd say), dialogues are not bad and at least sound mature and art-style is good. It's not the best Wuxia out there but it's not bad.

It's just a pitty that there is no decent translation. In particular, the comickiba MTL is awful. Now Neko scans seems to be taking it up but for some reason no group lasts long on this one and, they skipped lots of chapters. It's a real pitty Flame scans dropped this one.

The story does get interesting towards the end of the first arc. But it also lacks any tension. The idea of increasing power levels is handled in an interesting way but it still feels like the MC never works for anything. Now this might be because the first arc is largely about how awesome he is whereas equally skilled people start coming into it later, so in the long run it all might even out. But for the moment (50 chapters out) its got some interesting ideas but is a fairly boring read.

Take the cookiecutter cultivation plot, then skip the part where the protagonist becomes strong, and start with him at the very top (though supposedly injured). This is Everlasting God of Sword (or 'egos' for short, a most fitting abbreviation). So the protagonist still gets bullied for a bit, only for him to eventually reveal that he's now stronger than everyone put together, and immediately start to arrogantly judge and execute anyone he doesn't like. Ridiculous. Give this protagonist a less likable face, and he easily becomes one of the villains of the story.
