Description
Ichinoi, a 75-year-old woman living a peaceful life, unwittingly buys a Boy’s Love manga one day…and is fascinated by what she finds inside. When she returns to the bookstore to buy the next volume, the high school girl working there–Urara, a seasoned BL fan–notices a budding fangirl when she sees one. When Urara offers to help Ichinoi explore this whole new world of fiction, the two dive into BL fandom together, and form an unlikely friendship along the way.

You ever cry because something is just so touching and real and sweet? It's this manga. A real balm for the soul and proof you don't need over the top drama or cheap gimmick to hook people. I love it!! So happy it got recommended to me. 10/10.
The story was touching and really makes you feel for the characters. A slice of life that has a lot to say about friendships and living each day fully. My only regret with this manga is that it feels like it ended abruptly. I would have liked to see a little more of this world and how the characters continued to grow.
This isn't BL and I'm happy with that. Personally I love yuri and shojou ai and am generally open with my friends about taboo topics like sex

Being 69 (yes!!!) and a fujoshi of old, I found very amusing and moving the idea of a lady my age, or almost LOL, discovering BL, when I'm the one in RL shocking younger people around me! I read the first volume (in French) but unfortunately I don't like the art, which is quite important for me. Yet I'd recommend it, for the plot.
