The story is quite interesting with fantasy elements and deeper story than just a BL story. However it's very long and some parts feel repetitive. There's also some triggering stuff (Rape, Gore) in here so read at your own risk.

SPOILERS BECAUSE I DON'T KNOW HOW TO A PUT SPOILER box. Ok, the first season started off strong. First off there is a very heavy rape element throughout the story but with the first season this wasn't the main or entire focus. The older Ml was a king of the village around the middle ages (ie unwilling stud horse of the village kept in chains to impregnate women) which ended up being a traumatic memory addressed later in the story. He gets transported into the future where he meet our second male lead and hi-jinks ensue(a curse, bitch of an ex-girlfriend, ghosts and witches). Then there is the main villain that uses sexual magic to control his victims, ie. lots of rape is involved. Despite this there was a decent story line that had me interested in where it was going and waiting for our heroes to save the day and destroy said evil villain. Then the second season came and rape, rape, rape, and more rape. I think almost every living and non-living character is either raped or a rapist or almost raped. The very moment the younger ML goes back to the past chasing after his lover you guessed it gang raped and sodomized by a group of soldiers. After that I was just like WHY?? After being rescued by the old Ml then starts the seemingly endless chapters of their relationship troubles and sex, sex and more sex with a little bit of the main story plot thrown in (the evil villain is doing very bad shit) but no the make sex between the two leads take priority. There are side characters that are important to the plot of the story and their trails and tribulations and backstories are also thrown in in short burst between the Ml's sexcapades and developing relationship. I'm willing to admit the main couple is adorable together but after a while I just started scrolling past the sex and their relationship scenes just to get back to the main plot of the story. I had to scroll a lot. Expect about 40 to 50 chapters of this. So it's not a bad story but I think it would probably have been a lot shorter if about half the rape and sex scenes weren't in it. It's to the point that I feel like a reading a bunch of fillers chapters just to stretch the story out. Some sex scenes take up 2 to 3 chapters on it's own with no progression to the story.
So if you like your yaoi with a lot of sex (LOTS!!!!) in it this is for you. If your looking for yaoi with an actual story plot there is one. Just expect it to take a while to get there

Leopold is such a lovely character. I am already falling in love with him, he purely loves Taehoon. This is very sweet.

There are times that some BL stories attract a lot of attention and people keep pointing out and praising certain aspects they love and I'm here wondering how they can see things that I don't. This story is an example of that.

The old MC is a kind and pure grandpa. A grandpa with a hot body and porportions fitted for the porn industry. The antithesis is very strong.

The main couple has a very beautiful relationship. They exchange very sweet and important words. It makes you feel good reading that.

The antagonist of this story is a guy that would have been gangraped in modern prisons due to the cruelty he shown in his crimes. He is a killer, he rapes people, even his own son without remorse, he eats kids and women, he has committed many crimes against humanity. As the setting of this story is in medieval German, this makes sense to me, if you know what I mean.

The main couple has no allies, aside from a doctor who is friends with the young MC. All other characters are pure trash, I hate their parts in the story as they torment the main couple for their own benefit (eg. they separate them forcefully without convincing them, through magic, saying that it was for their own good as well, they caused the gangrape of the young MC, through magic, and said that it was for his benefit as well, etc).

If you combine all these elements in a story, where in one scene the couple is happy and cuddly and in the next scene a person is raped and killed, I cannot understand how this story is considered readable. I just can't see that.

This comic should definitely be read with humor on the mind. While there are parts that get emotional and make me strongly empathize, it is as a whole a historical fiction story spliced smoothly with a romantic timetraveling comedy. Between the heavy scenes in the past, we get to experience the fluffy growth of Taehoon and Leopold's relationship.(Caution, rated X with censoring.)

I am currently finished with the first part and will wait patiently for the author to come off of hiatus. So far, the development of characters and plot has been well executed and consistent. The art is sexy as hell with lots of buffness and full color pages. I highly recommend this, because it is such a well done fun comic to read.
