The mom sells her daughter for money they don't even need and we're supposed to think it's a good thing because the one who bought her is an ara ara big tiddy lady. Fuck off, that's not cute. Oh, she's one of the good slaveowners? Then why am I even complaining?

general warnings

brief mentions of a dead family member, specifically a father. also, i disagree with the "GL Subtext" category bc the girl's love in this manga isn't subtext—it's just text (??? idk how to put it lol). basically, the girl's love is definitely there.

this was exactly what i needed when i went hunting for lighthearted slice of life yuri. i'm always a sucker for a supernatural being assimilating to the human world, and seeing this happen with a cast filled with adorable girls was the cherry on top. i thoroughly enjoyed the day-to-day lives of demon king and nio's family, and between chidori being the apple of my eye and the mom being super chill, i was cooing through all 10 chapters. any time i thought angst miiiiight be around the corner, it naturally turned back to fluff. i also loved that demon king was very transparent and communicative of what she wanted and what she did, and that nio reciprocated.

the art style is really clean with cute character designs; nothing exceptional, but its simplicity helps emphasize the general slice-of-life-ness of the whole story. also, nothing really happens throughout the manga, so if you're looking for something with depth or plot, this is definitely not it. that said, i still found it very enjoyable and was completely satisfied by the end.

overall 10/10 for this supernatural, slice of life romance (-u-)b
