Nationalist circle jerk plot, war crimes, rape, and harem.

Type of author who thinks Japan's brutality towards civilians during ww2 was honourable.

If you like military genre don't read...It's just arbitrarily applied modern logic and means to a fantasy setting

After reading the first chapters, the setting is similar to "Gate JSDF" but with a less sonen-ish approach (Still no clear MC or a random harem forming os it's good on that side...).

But it really feels like they're copying something else given the little thoughts many things were given some actions are reasoned weakly... lt also makes no sense they only contacted one nation especial regarding war ,given the approach mediation was the obvious solution . That aspect really disappointed me ,just like randomly annihilating a notion because of war crimes without any from of mediation or research on the world. I hope they just did it to give dynamism to the story and it gets better afterwards.

Edit it doesn't: "enemies " are just hate sinkholes to do target practice against and establish superiority after the first ark.

LOL They do genocide and acts of atrocity with prohibited weapons to go against a random country for doing the same in a lesser scale.

There is one thing i notice about this manga. The mood setting for it were kind of messy in the first arc.

Spoiler alert:
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
on the first arc, after establishing diplomacy with the introduced nation in the first 2 chapters, that allies nation is under attack from a much bigger kingdom nearby.

The arc begin with a gruesome battle with blood, gore and child rape. This is the very first mood setting for the first battle of the manga. It was done quite well actually but subsequent battles, the author/artist start to insert joke into it. To be specific, enemy commanders went being blown apart by Japan's missile and explosive does some kind of funny pose as they are dying. I believe it was to set up some kind of humour between the chapter. The major problem is the first battle of the manga already introduce itself as a serious blood bath. It's out of nowhere that later battles used this way to try to make thing funny.

If you want to make a joke out of it, does it in the very first battle. If you didn't, it's better not to do so later on. You already established that a battle in this manga is serious. Why the heck did you try to make a joke out of it later on?

It's a good thing that this thing didn't last the entire arc, later on toward the second half of the arc thing changed back a little but it lost all the mood setting it tried to create in the chapter 4 where the battle began.
