HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

I came across a youtube video about this manga and it got me curious. The summary seemed good and the reviews were good. But when I started reading the manga, I realised that it was way, WAY better than I imagined. This manga focuses so well on pure love. It's kind of rare to find mangas like this.

It was beautiful, meaningful and captivating! It made me laugh at times and was . . . educating in some ways. (Hint: 20 roses) I wish there was more! A sequel would be lovely! I highly recommend this to anyone who's yet to start reading Boy Love stories! And I recommend it to any fellow fan of BL.

And I HATE that girl, Shino! She's gives girls everywhere a bad name!!

A mature, lovely couple that you can't help rooting for. There's actually a plot and some character development which I love. The art is absolutely gorgeous and I fell in love with the characters and the romance. Fantastic.

I like how the manga chapters are broken by the days of the week. After all, Yuzuru is given 7 days to go out with Touji, a guy who is kinda nonchalant about dating. Little do they know what will bloom during the week they are together. The manga is adorable, and since it is shonen ai, the interactions between the two are fluffy. Anyways, great art, great story, and an amazing couple.

The plot's not completely original and the story doesn't rip out your heart and etc etc, but despite some flaws that I can't really point out it's perfect the way it is. The pace, the development, the length, and the chemistry.

This manga is something I will reread.

I lost count to the number of times I came across Seven Days. I had it bookmarked, too, pretty much since around the time it came out, yet never felt "in the mood" to read it.

Little did I know, however, this two-volume lovely shonen-ai would have satisfied me in its entirety in several different occasions. It's one of those stories simple in its complexity, which doesn't aim at something which it is not, with the right amount of love and drama, and definitely with its well-deserving-of-praise slow heartbreaking moments. It pulls on your heartstrings--and also, sometimes, on your nerves. Funny thing is, although I did feel like breaking in there yelling who loves who and why they were both so pathetic and pitiful in their sweetness, those were definitely not moments where I felt I should just close the damn book because it was all so pointless and stupid. Not at all.

There's a lot of growth and development to go through, concerning the characters, but there's some of that in here already. I particularly loved the fact that both Seryou and Yuzuru spoke to each other and waited and chased after one another. And this was not always like that so in the course of one mere week they got more mature than most BL characters do in a bloody series of nth chapters.

It's a quite sweet, lovely manga we have here, which preserves the warmth and purity of the meaning "shonen-ai" minus all the possible shoujo poopie you may be familiar with--cry-baby, damsel in distress kind of uke, lots and lots of shouting, etc. I liked it a lot.

....kind of manga after reading it that I found myself picking up and reading again, which resulted in purchasing a physical copy of the manga. It doesn't have a plot that's out of the ordinary or revolutionary. The characters though was what drew me in and the flaws that were inherent in the two main characters.

Touji is the dark tall handsome gentle type of guy, who treats each person he's dated like a princess (I say princess since Yuzuru ends up being the first guy he does date prior to that only girls) and puts on whatever appearances the person his date prefers, but at the same time he treats it like a routine, doesn't reveal much about himself and expects everything to work out magically in a week if not completely erase contact with the date of the week (though he doesn't blatantly state...actually at some point Yuzuru points it out). Yuzuru on the other hand is also handsome but more honest and doesn't attempt to fit the expectancy of the people around him. Huge overlying theme I guess would be the whole don't judge a book by the cover and what seems nice isn't so nice [prevalent in both characters].

The story though is sweet and I found their interaction endearing, for example when Yuzuru spots a beauty mark on Touji's eyelid, their first kiss, their first date and how their graduation. There was a definite flow to the story. The art is simple, and kind of airy quality to it, which was nice and blended well with the pacing and atmosphere of the storyline. The storyline seems reminiscent to Only the Ring Finger Knows. Highly recommended though if you want a sweet quick read.

What more can I say. It's definitely a good read if you're looking for a slow, sweet, romance to blossom. Usually when someone recommends something for me to read, I don't look into it (which is kind'of mean) but I'm glad I did for this one. The art is just beautiful! And if you're into analyzing which screen tones were used then this one will definitely make you wanna draw your own manga. I find this manga inspiring as an artist, and as a writer because these two chapters were just beautiful.

You know how you find a story so beautiful that you just - you wish there was more and more and have it continue on? This one is that sort of story. It's always one I recommend to people if they are just beginning to read shounen-ai. This one doesn't force it on you or the characters, like the usual "I will blackmail you" or "I have fallen for you on first sight" found in this genre.

This story is exactly what love is: It can form out of no where when you least expect it. I hugely recommend this to anyone, even if they are already a fan of BL. It's just that great as a story.
