I adore the artwork in this book. It's beautiful and the faces are so full of emotion while being unique, it's gorgeous.

The story unfolds slowly, and the pieces we get which hint at Asami's thoughts and feelings really makes the disconnect between them so realistic. This is from Yuki's perspective, and he's a determined young man who has finally reached what could be the biggest stepping stone in his life - but things are much more complex than expected. Still, he remains determined, and though somewhat innocent, he puts the whole of himself into whatever he does.

The moment when Yuki realizes he loves Asami is heartbreaking. Though we get hints of Asami feeling the same way long beforehand, Yuki is completely out of the loop, and miscommunications just make it that much easier to understand why he feels his love is impossible.

I've only read what is up on Futekiya, and I am dying for more while also dreading any further complications when they've finally gotten together.
