The lack of proper character introduction and rushed pace made a story that could have been an absolute masterpiece, into sth that’s just simply “good”. The plot twists can feel underdeveloped at times but TRUST ME, it’s all worth it if you get to the end.

Cons:
-2D characters, don’t expect to get attached to them
-mediocre pacing (the story could have been A LOT better if instead of throwing new plot twists at the reader, one after another, the author slowed down a bit and focused on raising the tension)
-rather bad art style

Pros:
-the world-building is just simply incredible
-the pace gets better later on
-it’s one of those series which leave a lasting impression if you get to the end (which is at least from my experience very rare)

despite all of the flaws, I really cannot help but give this a 8/10. I feel like it might still not be enough.
If you decide to give this a try, my only advice would be not to binge-read it. Slowing down might help offset the rushed pace a bit
Be patient and I promise that it’ll be worth it
