Much less comedy and much more drama than the cover suggests.

Matsumoto's art is always a treat, but the writing wasn't at its best here. The first chapter makes you think that it'll be an amusing and wacky story, but the others are pretty light in terms of comedy and heavier on romance and, especially, drama. The running theme here is holding on to feelings for years, whether they be love or guilt. Still, something about it feels rushed, maybe because Keisuke's character isn't that fleshed out aside from his first meeting with Hiyama, while Hiyama's backstory is given a lot of space. There is a lot of intense angsting and a big climax (with, granted, a satisfying resolution), but not much substance other than that, if that makes sense.
Still, it's a fairly interesting manga with a romance that wasn't too rushed, even though it doesn't really go beyond "we're together because we care for each other". And, surprisingly, I liked the way inspector Sagawa's character shifted from a typical bully to a frenemy at the end.

Lol, reading the tags and uh... it's all a gimmick to buy in more readers. I see you author.
The plot was all over the place with trying to be "spicy" and wholesome. That's not possible when you're trying to deal with someone dealing with trauma.

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
It almost felt like a magical healing cock. A therapeutic dog would probably have been a lot more efficient in dealing with Hiyama's trauma.
