I started reading this not expecting anything in particular, but reading on I got more and more upset with Subaru. It kinda feels like a "love can change someone" story on the down-low, but I can see them get together and eventually break up, because the only compatibility they have is their bodies. Subaru is intolerable, and Kyosuke isn't the type to settle for someone so childish and self-centered, no matter how cute they are at confessing. You really can't see where they fell in love either, except Kyosuke getting worn down, and Subaru blindly pursuing for no reason other than "why can't it be him"?

there isn't any resolution at the end, and you're left with a lot of questions regarding the sincerity from subaru, and also the brushing off of kyosuke's insecurities and disillusionment regarding their situationship. would like to see this get a continuation with better closure. it's not a terrible read, but if you need a proper ending this isn't going to give you that.
