Pretty good as far as isekai adventure goes

At first I was prepared to be disappointed with the meditation nonsense but the worldbuilding (what little of it there was) is actually pretty solid and didn't leave many questions unanswered. The whole mana/ki thing was satisfactory, although the MC being able to overcome his language barrier in only a matter of weeks seemed a bit ridiculous.

Anyway as far as it goes I think this is a pretty decent isekai adventure story. It's a bit hard for me to rate these kinds of stories, and obviously it's not a masterpiece...I didn't really feel any particularly strong emotions from it and I don't think I learned anything important from reading it either. It's mostly just a "wacky adventures of a guy transported into a medieval fantasy world" kind of story.

From that perspective I can understand why this was dropped. I think maybe if the character relationships were developed a bit further then it could have been a more interesting story. In particular I'm curious to see how far the MC-Yusmina relationship would have gone. I genuinely think there was potential for a more interesting story. As it is it just feels like a teaser.

It seems like chapter 40 was the final chapter of season 1, as the story is wholly unfinished and we are left at a cliff hanger, but on Toomics, it is listed as the end. I can't find any info on a season 2 so maybe it was cancelled or something of the sorts. My rating applies to the chapters available, as I was disappointed but not too bothered that it ended short. It's a good isekai, with a nice mix of realism and a strong MC. He's mature, reasonable, and a lot of fun to watch fight. Great for its genres, sad to see it never got a real conclusion.

Quite good

Another isekai but this one starts of focusing in survival and is more coherent and rational than most others in the genre. The MC is no genius, no OP char, has no miraculous luck nor mythical artifact, he doesn't even understand the new worlds language, he's a regular guy trying to survive and slowly building his body with rudimentary cultivation techniques. It takes it time and doesn't rush, for example, it takes his 10 days and 2ch to make a sling and get somewhat proficient with it.
It lost some impact for me when it shifted from a survival oriented plot to one based on humans and their wars, still the MC is tired of living like a monkey in the jungle, which is a justification I can't fault.
Overall, it's one of the best isekai I've read so far but it just started so I'm interested to see how it holds up after 100-200 chapters.
