Wow I've seen some misleading summaries & tags in the past but this is one of the worst

I've come across this novel several times in the Recommended section in my search for isekais to read but the summary put me off, including the 'school life' tag like wtf. Add to that, the single vote of 5/10 by a different user.

As isekais go, the familiar tropes appear, such as: two-faced hoe, overpowered MC, etc.

However, I'm really liking this so far. MC is Leticiel.

MC's background basically goes like this: She was a princess in a land where war was pretty common and their kingdom is pretty small. (Think Medieval-esque aesthetic, or Iron Age aesthetic. Stone wall castles, etc. Ooh, something like Game of Thrones LOL) Due to her great aptitude and intellect, she became known as the Great Mage (I'm getting some serious Merlin vibes lol).

Anyway, surrounding kingdoms feel threatened and decide to band together to crush the kingdom our MC is in. Her husband, her dad, and all her loved ones gets killed. Distraught and hopeless, and not wanting to be used by whichever kingdom captures her, she kills herself.

Then wakes up as Drossiel, second daughter of a Duke. Setting is the usual isekai fantasy setting. (Vague European-esque aesthetic with nobles and royalty, plus consorts, magic, etc.)

She's a neglected (borderline abused) child due to being 'magic powerless' but actually means high aptitude in 'magecraft' as revealed by Leticiel's knowledge.

Anyway, things progress. You could easily swap her with a male MC in a different isekai which isn't a bad thing. It was actually pretty interesting reading how she dealt with her surroundings, and how everything basically gets boiled down to brass tacks due to her experiences from her past life. I also like the small elements of mystery she encounters once and a while. Definitely looking forward to this.
