Description
I'm aiming to be like Haare's number one receptionist onee-san!
In a world filled with magic, from a young age, Nunnaly has always wanted to be a receptionist at Haare, just like that onee-san. There's something charming about it. I think it's the rare academic rival bantering, where both can hold their stances.
It's also the intelligent AND hardworking female protagonist.
My only grudge with this manga is its slow burn:

Seriously, there's a fucking sequel novel and they still haven't gotten togetherrrrr... Although, they have confessed... but come on dudeeee T^T

A receptionist? Needed amazing intelligence and magic? Is this some weird way for low-skilled, shitty paid workers to escape reality? The premise is as dumb as the author. Move on.
I love the art, the story is definitely not focused on the romance... well, it's just very slow. But the parts that do focus on the FL and ML are very cute. I like the story, it's nice!

The storytelling kind of annoys me.. a large amount of time is covered but hardly anything notewhile has been shown. We are also constantly told how amazing the leads are but hardly ever see it, and the ML comes off as a massive knob without anything redeeming, while the FL suffers from the association and is pretty bog standard. So if you don't like the pairing this is an annoying read. No other characters have anything going for them either so your stuck with these two.

I have only good things to say about this manga! The art is solid and enjoyable to see, the story / plot is interesting, the pacing is nice, the character development is nice, the characters are all likeable... and most of all, the romance is absolutely squeal-worthy!
This is one of those guy falls first while the female is oblivious and sees the guy as her rival romances, and it’s done very well!

MC is very dense, but the male lead sure makes it hard for me to pity him sometimes when he's so indirect about his feelings for her lol. BUT I STILL WANT PROGRESS. IT'S BEEN 2 YEARS!!
Anyways, I guess it wasn't as boring as I'd thought. I thought she'd be stuck behind a desk the whole time as a receptionist but she does go out from time to time.
