I was relieved to see that it didn't turn out to be another "nice idol is actually an asshole IRL" plot, and that the two leads have great chemistry and their romance was sweet. The dance bits are fun to watch and I liked that Taiyo wasn't made out to be some absolute genius, and made mistakes and learned along the way. There are some sad bits relating to Takuto's trauma and what happens between Taiyo and Hajime, but they aren't exaggerated or melodramatic. All in all, it was a pleasant story with cute couple moments, and the dancing never stopped being relevant to it.
Only thing I'll complain about is that the art looks janky sometimes, but it's not bad enough to ruin the manga. I was also side-eyeing the 18/24 age gap for awhile, but luckily there is no dubcon.
