after a few chapters it starts to get repetitive and chapter 35 just throws the story out of the window

I'm mainly reading this story to enjoy Scarlet's ass-kicking adventures. And sometimes we even get to see her leg muscles too👍🏼 The action scenes really are great. The mangaka really deserves praise for that.

Also, while it's not super stressed on yet, Scarlet is on the way to having her own harem of men. We've been shown that she'd jump at any possible opportunity to kick ass and I love how coolly she brushes of advances from men and how she unconsciously makes men blush around her. Not really a fan of how Prince Julius seems to have the upper hand over her though.

Had a good first chapter. Rest is boring.

I've only read the manga and not the novel, and it feels choppy and the pacing is a mess. Even if the second prince is a douchebag and he can slander her, there is no reason why she has to act as his maid when she is the daughter of a duke. It makes no sense. And the mangaka just randomly threw us into the plot without giving an ounce of background info, so the whole story is just a mess. The characters are also not well built, especially on the side of the female lead and the crown prince. If she's so powerful and special, why would the royal family allow their son to treat her like a piece of trash? Why would her father not warn the second prince if he is clearly the one in the wrong? Ok let's say he didn't see that the first time he mistreated her, but the other times? Just because one is royalty does not absolve them from stepping on a high ranked noble. Plus, the first prince is a whole wreck. Unlike other "I'm a genius i get bored easily I find entertainment from looking down on people" prince characters, his characterisation is so poorly done that it seems like he pops out of no where and doesn't seriously fancy her. I'm not sure how to properly put this into words.

TLDR: Very messy, maybe it's because it's in a comic format, novel might be better idk

Plot: 5/10 Idk it's kinda lame just the MC punching everyone without taking into account the context it occurs in
Storyline: 1/10 Boring, messy and a whole wreck (the way it's drawn)
Art: 8/10 The main characters are all hot and the art is well drawn

Overall: 5/10 It's not the worst but definitely not an enjoyable read

It's not a one shot, it's just a monthly series that hasn't hit its second chapter yet. Basically brand spankin' new on the manga side of things, not sure how far the novel is in comparison. It does look worth a read even just from that one chapter, but considering how impatient I feel waiting for chapter 2, maybe give yourself some buffer time before you take a look.

A short 1 shot, and well worth a read.
