Yuujin Kamoshima and Takara Takarada are fellow actors in the same theater troupe who live next door to one another, with similar day to day lives.
Though they aren't exactly close friends, when Yuujin is cast as Takara's double, he sees first hand his extraordinary acting skills and is blown away. From that moment on, he's determined to help him succeed and support him in his dream of becoming a world renowned actor, even if Yuujin has to be in his shadow. The author has been having health issues and has not been able to draw or write for more than half a year, but it looks like they are slowly getting back into it.

For whatever reason, the "Boys' Love as a Subplot" tag was added and fairly recently at that, and I can't seem to be able to downvote it. At this very point in time where the story has stopped, it's unclear whether the relationship portrayed in the manga is explicitly romantic or sexual--it's much more vague and complicated than that and sprouts from a cocktail of fear, codependency and toxicity--therefore leaving the supposed "BL" subtextual. If one reads it critically, you'd see what I mean.
Until we see more of the manga, I don't think it's fair to immediately assume this is BL and lead others into thinking so, either.
