Despite being very cliché, the characters are not that bad. I like the female lead, she’s relatively mature and confident. The ml is childish but it could be on purpose due to his age. They don’t have a good chemistry for the moment, everything seems to rely on their looks only. It’s more lust than love. Maybe it will evolve. Maybe. (I’m not that confident).
Concerning the side characters, I really like the second female lead Tong Meng even if it has only been 3 chapters since she’s been introduced. She feels refreshing, I hope her character won’t only be used to create misunderstandings. (Can I hope for a genuine friendship with one of the mcs ?)
If you’re wondering, yes there is a plot, but it is very confusing as the consequence of the clumsy storytelling. Btw the story takes quite some time to begin.
All in all I don’t consider this a serious read, everything is quite shallow and the plot (from the small bit I understood) seems unoriginal.
I kept reading because of the drawings.
