I'll try to balance the good and the bad things I say about this but it's a little difficult to be positive when I'm fresh off of finishing it and I kind of found the ending lacking.
Please note: I am primarily using speech to text to write this because my dominant hand has been injured from, ironically, typing too much.
Artwork is gorgeous. panels are easy to understand and read. The political stuff isn't too hard to follow at all. I never felt like things were dragging on. And the romance is nice and spicy while not being rushed at all. It's a fantastic slowburn with a delicious amount of teasing and a logical, strong female lead who breaks stereotypes in what qualifies as a beautiful girl's personality.
I've tended to read a lot of gender bender comics throughout my life because I'm trans. I like having a character that I can relate to in gender dysphoria, or otherwise read comics that disregard sterotypes of gender as something vitally important. This satisfied me well, but.. the main character really doesn't get to show off her strength often, and is usually - no, ALWAYS - saved by someone else when she's in danger. I feel like this is such a terrible and negative feminine stereotype that's so painfully overdone and really needs to die. she's got all those muscles and no reason to use them. I felt like I was tricked because the comic always reminds you how strong she is in dialogue and a few moments where she gets to do one or two cool combat things, but it always ultimately didn't actually matter to her character. It felt like such a disappointment every single time she had to be saved instead of figuring out a way to solve problems on her own. I acknowledge that she has a very good strength of character, but that leads me to my next complaint: character arc conclusions just felt rushed. The ending to the romance just felt kind of... unhealthy? cold? wishy-washy? nothing like the spicy romance we see throughout the comic leading up to the end. It seems to go from sexy to lovey dovey and it just doesn't really work because the characters don't talk about their feelings enough leading up to that point beyond a confession. maybe my taste in romantic themes is just different, though.
I feel like the supporting cast characters could have had way more character development or backstory explained and their arcs just felt sadly one-note, I didn't really believe them to be realistic people. I felt like I was missing panels to explain their feelings a lot of the time. I also don't understand why some sad things had to happen at the end at all, they didn't really add anything to the plot beyond trying to steal some tearjerker points. Am I too cruel?
a big good point though: The villain is absolutely great in that they just have such a punchable aura. You don't find villains that you love to hate as often as this. Their conclusion, though.. also felt kinda one note and rushed? It feels like it should've been harder. I dunno. sometimes it feels like the author was just squishing a bunch of important points into a few chapters instead of spacing them out naturally. unfortunately I would not be surprised if this is a contracting problem with tapas or something. I dunno.
I'm over critical. This might honestly be your most favorite comic ever after you finish it and I absolutely would not blame you. It has all the right notes, It has fantastic artwork in a fantastic story that isn't too boring or rushed for the most part, all of it is technically good. not giving it a try is a genuine shame because it really is of high quality. just don't get your hopes super up for a natural feeling ending I guess?

Not typical or event just atypical romance. In almost whole story FL is disguised as male and ML dont know about this, so almost whole story its BL subtet in every "romantic" moment. But this is rare moment, mostly there is teasing/yealing/master-servant things. ML even many time behaves like he dont care about her feelings or even dont care about her (using as bait) at all until discovered (ch 100+) that she isnt boy but girl, but after that still do what he want without care that she might dont want this. And FL at the end start a little behaves like "doll who dont protest".

This is an incredible work. Truly, the plot is superb and carries the entire manga.
One complaint! I DO NOT recommend reading if you have a non-con or dub-con trigger. As someone who has experienced sexual assault it can be a little hard to get through parts of the relationship in this story.
That being said, the characters are multifaceted and the entire work has this psychological edge which is tempered with humor and budding romance fraught with well written sexual tension. I am not a fan of shounen ai type gender bender stories, but I thoroughly enjoyed every chapter.
The previous comments are correct however: it IS rather messy, the artwork changes halfway through, and the ending is a little unsatisfying. But I never caught myself questioning the logic behind the characters actions, because it wasn't outrageous to me. Their personalities as a result of the trauma they experienced gave them reasonable flaws and awesome chemistry. There are a few side stories that never really wrapped up, and the ending is more bittersweet than most fantasy I tend to read, if rushed.
Great villain. Great plot. Really solid manga.

The art changes around ~60 chapters in and it’s a downgrade, takes a while to get used to. The ending felt rushed and a lot of the supporting cast didn’t get proper endings.
Was pretty good at first though

a good read if you're into cross-dressing where the ML doesn't actually find out about this until the very end and slow romance

Overall this was a good read. I binged on this in the weekend and it got me hooked enough to finish in one sitting. This manhwa has a few things going for it which is rare to find in manhwa/manga:
- the romance is slow, not much fluff but you can certainly feel the romantic chemistry building up gradually in its own way. The way it's illustrated makes it really clear and touching on how and why the ML slowly fell for the FL. There were some great symbolism built in near the end between the ML and FL's romantic development that made me want to cry.
- the ML (and actually pretty much everyone except those who already knew the FL) didn't find out about the FL's true gender and identity until almost the very end. So here we legit have a ML who was straight, but fell for the FL thinking FL was a guy, and battled thru questions about his own sexuality to realize that gender didn't matter.
- the ML was a true womanizer. Despite what made him start his behavior, he really was trash to all the women around him except those he regards as "one of his own". That made it all the more satisfying when he all of a sudden starts to fall in love and then has to restrain himself hard because he doesn't want to go after another guy (FL) who he thought was straight...it was sweet payback time for him
- the ML actually cared more about his life goal (and the heavy blood revenge that weighed on his shoulders) than his love (at least for almost the entire work). It was good to see him subtly fight his own feelings and then prioritize the debts that must be paid back in blood. Honestly, it was a refreshing change when I've seen so many other works when ML's kind of just fall in love and then say to the world "I don't care anymore I will screw over whoever (whatever) to have my romance". This isn't that type of ML and Iiked the immense character growth throughout this work where the ML
- FL's personality was lovable. I really liked how she doesn't feel like she needs to depend on anyone else and doesn't view it as anyone else's obligation to help her out or save her when she's in distress.
so in short, despite the ML's character being very trashy on paper, he was a very INTERESTING character to read about, and he really got some great development throughout this entire work.
Also, the artwork did change midway. It was kind of hard to adapt at first because when it initially happened, the background got really sloppy and the characters weren't as expressive as before, but it did improve and by the climax it had gotten really good. I was truly touched by some of the scenes between the ML and the FL. So it was definitely worth holding onto this series when I initially felt turned off by the art change.
Now, the cons:
- FL started out pretty promising but throughout the plot was getting into way too many damsel in distress situations. It was literally like she forgot about herself being a spy and along with that lost all her spy skills. The number of times she got kidnapped/drugged got kind of ridiculous
- ending was definitely rushed. I went back and read the novel ending and felt that that was much better, but the manhwa ending was still ok.

at the very end finally comes to an epiphany that instead of only living for others and those that died, he also needs to live for himself. It was really touching when he mentioned to his close friend "what about me? I need to go on living, too" after he's avenged everyone that has died
- FL's personality was lovable. I really liked how she doesn't feel like she needs to depend on anyone else and doesn't view it as anyone else's obligation to help her out or save her when she's in distress.
