I figured I'd better add on to the praise that this series has. You don't have to be into shounen-ai to love this manga because it has a great storyline as well. Not only is the storyline interesting, but you never get tired of the AMAZING artwork and Ritsuka's cute ears. ^ ^. And yes, it is very mature with a dark story to tell. So it isn't some cute little bubbly manga with nonstop smiles. Definitely in the top 3 for me.

relationship make the whole manga awesome. I absolutely love it. The art's good, too. Oh, and the fighting, and blood are cool, and give the story an added bonus!

But you should definitely give it a shot. I'd read about this before but I never bothered to read it. It sounded like some washed out boys love version of Sailor Moon. I was very surprised how much I liked it. While it does have that fantasy element, and while it does have a touch of shonen ai and shojo ai (girls love) its actually a MUCH darker story.

One of murder, abuse, attachment...this story isnt what its described to be. And actually its not something a younger audience should read. Its rated OT for older teen for a good reason. Its not about fluff balls and cute little neko boys, its a rather serious story.

The anime is alright, but the manga fills in the holes and provides the details you need. If you've only watched the anime the manga picks up from where it left off at about the middle of Vol. 4, but read the manga from the beginning anyway. There's tons of details that are missed.

I never thought I would like anything like this, how VERY wrong I was. This is easily in my top ten!

I was suprised by how much I liked this one. I'd being staying clear of it for a while because it seemed to have 'shota' written all over it. The thought of a adult involved with kid really grossed me out, but after a friend recommended it and I began to read it I was pleasantly suprised to find out it's not. There are a few intimate scenes, but only very light and none that disturb me a great deal.

The storyline is great and the art is very beautiful. What really gets me interested in the story though, is the complexity of many of the characters. Every one, from Ritsuka to the bubble headed girl that has a crush on him (can't remember her name), is interesting enough that it makes me want to read more of the storyline to find out more about them, so I never get bored reading it. Can't wait for the next chapter!

So, all in all, I'd recommend this to anyone!

This has to be one of my favourite manga, it has everything a girl could want... bishies, fan service, and a good story line. I honestly crave it when waiting for my volumes in the mail.

In my opinion, the manga is 10x better than the anime, much more description, better character profiles, and very funny.

It's in my top 3 manga, that's for sure. ^_^

This manga is kawaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!!!! I loved it!!!!!

I recently watched the anime and I loved it, then I though... I HAVE to know more, so I read the manga and LOVELESS is now one of my top fave (and trust me, I have read a lotta manga)

I don't usually read shounen-ai but someone told me it was good and so I read it and thought, "WOW! This is great!"

Its a very well done manga with awesome drawings, and interesting (and a not predictable) storyline. The characters aren't superficial or stupid and you really end up liking them.

So in short, just read it!
