You'll only lose your time and maybe get irritated.
Also the author makes it out so that it seems like everything's OK at the end and even leaves all the blame to MC, like he owed to be thrashed even more, when in fact no character developed sufficiently to correct or admit any wrong. Nothing gets solved, really. Everything just goes downhill.
Author probably wanted to be realistic but forgot people eventually learn.
