let me just say this ITS A TRAGEDY if you wanted a happy couple/good conclusion then this is not for you.
dont read if you dont like CRAZY stories.

Could someone please add the genre of 'tragedy' to this?

The drawing... If you don't mind the slightly older(kinda like Ghost Fighter/Flame of Recca generation) manga-type drawing, then the drawings are just fine, although for some scenes, you might want to flip the page around to understand and see the action more clearly as there is a lack of definite boundary between the frames and shading.

As for the story, don't get fooled by the angel on the cover page.
For those unaware, Azrael is the archangel of death- that should be a clue in itself of what the stories in this manga will be like.
The plot in itself is not really that unique and great, the storyline is somewhat rushed and that the emphasis is really placed more on the emotions it will trigger on the readers-in this case, angst. The story can be practically labelled under tragedy already, so for people who like super angst, you might enjoy this, otherwise, I advise you stay clear of this- trust me, you won't lose anything by not reading this.

For those who DO decide to continue reading the story, here's some heads-up:
1. The second chapter might make you confused at first. Don't stop just because of it, the ending will clarify everything for you.
2. Chapter 3 story gives you a feeling that everything has been rushed- from the plot to the ending, and even the flashback scene, but it will have a good ending at least.
3. Paradise Snow- the title is greatly misleading. Don't think for a moment that the angst has been lifted just because of the 'paradise' word inside, this closing story will make sure to leave an impression of angst in you, although it will be considerably lighter compared to the first two chapters.

I downloaded this one primarily for the third chapter [i.e. the one with vampires in it], so my comments will pertain mostly to that one. The art on the whole is horrendously bad. You don't need a fancy art school degree to see that the body proportions are way off. Necks are too long, bodies are too wide in relation to the small heads. While there was an attempt to drape clothing so that it doesn't look like everyone is wearing spandex, it was implemented in a way that only makes clothing look awkward and ill fitting. Hair often looks stiff. Characters do all look like thirty minutes was spent just drawing their eyes and ten minutes for everything else. The plot wasn't all that exciting.

I remember the art for the first two chapters [which is a two-part story involving dolls] being slightly better, but not by much. I didn't even look at the remaining ones.

I really only thing this one got scanlated because it contains things people like to see in manga -- dolls, vampires, angels -- and someone happen to find RAWs for it.
