Description

I made it through the first season, but the entire time I was reading it just felt like I was reading a child-friendly version of "The Pale Horse."
The author probably didn't do it on purpose, similarities happen sometimes. But I just much prefer Rose, Pierre and Lemon to Eleanor, Caidel and that vampire dude who's name I forgot, so I kept comparing the material and honestly, it just made me want to re-read the Pale Horse. the characters in this are of Shoujo-clichees. The art is nice but nothing special the plot is just not original enough to keep me on the hook.

big hint in season 2 that their relationship is based on grooming. Eleanor looked after a kid that looked totally similar like Kaidel since birth. Haha what's with manhwas nowadays that always push romance element based from grooming.
First 10 chapters or so are slow. And the pace doesn't really improve until the 35th chapter or so.
But around the end of season 1 there's a good twist. And man, the 2nd season opens up a WHOLE new level of plot twist. Everyone's kind of had a vague guess about it wayyy back from the prologue, but the way the author delivered the twist, I gotta say "exceptional".

Only on chapter 45, but wow I'm so immersed in this story. The two main characters are both mysterious, gorgeous, and adorable. Both are obviously burdened by their dark pasts, and somehow found solace in each other. There are also quite a few twists in this story--in general, I'm just loving this!
The story dips into topics on immortality, witchcraft, repentance, prejudice, and so much more.
Art: 10/10 The art is incredible and breathtaking, almost on the level of DICE
Plot: 9/10 The mystery keeps the readers reading, and everything is paced pretty well
Characters: 8/10 We've got a hot vampiric yandere, a wholesome cute puppy-like knight, and an adorable fluffy misunderstood FL
All in all, i can't wait to see more of this series and find out how everything unravels.
