8, no more, no less. It's original in it's own way but don't expect too much from it, even at the end of the 10th volume.
Season 2 somehow "continues" it, so you get the idea of why not to expect much of it plot~wise.
The best part is between the 6th and 7th volume, after that it goes back to a light~read with nice, clean art.

Well its interesting and amusing up to a point, the manga can really come off as a one trick pony at times, unfortunately I haven't really seen any continuation of a plot longer then 3 chapters, and it quickly begins converting in to your stereotypical shounen harem manga. However in its defence, the most recent releases have been pretty good, showing some semblance of a main plot, and even if the rest of it is pretty unoriginal, it still makes for a light hearted read, I'll save my final rating until the end, but it is most likely a 7-8
(it woulda been a 9 but after that recent witch arc I could never justify giving any manga that could ever associate it self with something so cheesy a 9)

i like it.
its fun and original, however if you are looking for a philosophical examination of the interation between humans and monsters representing... well whatever
this probably isnt for you.
also,
the "defeated" character who comes back was never made out to be dead by any stretch of the imagination, and it is completely plausible as well as probable that he would return at some point.

cliche plots, cardboard cutout characters, no realistic continuity, villians who are "defeated" still walk around in later chapters as though nothing happened. The art is the only good thing about this series.

Well he may be weak (for now) at least hes not a wimp, in certain situations (SPOILER) he almost died taking hits for moka hes pretty courageous if you ask me. The series is pretty good so far. What I like about the manga is that they cover situations where people can get descriminated and try to get past things like that.

Nah the male lead isn't "weak" in what you thinking... It's cause of many reason why he is consider weak ... well he does get a boost so don't worry it not a wimp getting all the chick. Oh and so far it quite compelling in the witch arc... i kinda feel so about "our" race hehehhe keep it up though i found it too slow ..(they doing season 2 when 1 isn't done FIND THAT REALLY _TUPID@!

The main guy is your standard annoying weak male getting himself a harem. Some bloody violence later on. If you like this series, try mx0.

As the topic says, this series is nicely done. Although it starts
as a lighthearted story, in the second part become quite dark.
Especially while describing difficult relationship between human,
monseters and witches...and the fights become quite bloody too.

PS:
I think mangaka should work a bit more with the scenes that
the characters are running, as their poses looks a bit hilarious. lol

PS2: Don't listen to what the dude below me said, the scanlation
war is a total bull.... they just use the free4all translation from mangahelpers
and starting from the beginning is just a priviledge not a law...

Wondering why suddenly so many scanlators picked up Rosario. Not to mention both decided to be rude and start translating from the middle ( it'd be ok if this manga was dropped, but it wasn't so they should've started from the beginning ).
Not to mention it looks to me like they're having a race who's going to be faster. Just lame.

Main character could use some fighting spirit of his own, and the group needs more male friends. However, this is just nitpicking, as the art is good and the plot is pretty interesting.
