Start very but it goes downhill

This is what happens when you have an author that takes his work seriously, there is little out of this manhwa so far but the start is a good indication. While 99% of the stories just start with a ridiculously rushed and dumb betrayal, death and transmigration, all packed as sardines in a few pages, Crimson Karma, starts building the character from the start, it explicitly shows who the MC was instead of just saying "the top mega assassin with god medical skill", the reader gets to know what made her what she is and what burden she carries (albeit rushly) and by the time she transmigrates the author had me, well that's a nice start, it's the same thing I've read 80 times already but done properly. Following the same lines, she doesn't miraculously gain the host's memories or has a 180° change in her personality, the author seams to try to be consequent in her story and give a proper sequence and justification to things which is just how I like it.
I don't know how this will progress in the future but man I have big hopes for this one, I'm a fan of fantasy in general but unfortunately most manga, manhua and manhwa are just to... lacking in storytelling, build-up, world building, either some or even all of them, and the worst and most common of all, put dumb comedy ahead of a good story, this one on the other hand seems to be going in a good direction.

Edit: still interesting now that it's reaching the 100ch hurdle, but it's not so good anymore, the pace is suffering somewhat at times, and the romance is kind of annoying, the MC is justifiably obtuse and the manhwa focuses too much on relations at times without really moving forward in any direction.
Also, and mainly, the author started forcing things too much, after using the same forced plot-tool twice to increase the possible male leads, this shows no sign of changing, as @AM_Woody says, by ch.95 it's getting annoying and dissapointing. I'll keep reading since it was a great story and I hope it gets back in track, but they rarely do.

Recent chapters have fallen off in storytelling

Dropped ch.95.
It was a solid series, but some recent developments have really rubbed me the wrong way. When you introduce someone who is effectively

the reincarnation of Kasia's rapist/abuser who also killed her
as a love interest/3rd ML it becomes very problematic very quickly. It also turned her into a damsel in distress and comes in conflict with what we've known about her character up unto this point. Pretty disappointing.

Kasia is so cool and badass, both physically and mentally, she truly does symbolize the title of “strong female lead”.

Also the story is really a breath of fresh air and this is definitely one of my favorite manhwas to date.

solid, not exceptional, made be snap a lil towards the end

The way the characters are introduced and have aproper backstory that actually reflects on their behaviour is very pleasing. Kasia, the MC, is a very strong lead and she's honestly pretty cool, but towards the end her character becomes almost meaningless, not accomplishing great feats by herself anymore and getting dangerously close to a damsel in distress, as many other commenters pointed out as well; this create a fracture with the rest of the story, while also creating an ill-thought association of completing overcoming one's traumas with loosing strength and initiative.
The worldbuilding isn't extensive nor detailed, but it's very well made and solid. Dialogues and art are fine, nothing really astonishing, be it in a positive or negative sense.
The story is basically a classic fairy tale in an isekai setting, plot turns are at times original and it all feels very organic until the last few chapters. The resolution of the conflict with the villain used far too big of an element of deus ex machina to be honest and even throughout the whole story knowing literally anything is gonna end up always going well reduces the stakes for any clash.

The art style does end up changing, but honestly I preferred the earlier one. It was rough, but I felt that it worked better at portraying the character's power. The new art style is rather cute and the characters are always blushing. Kasia becomes much smaller and traditionally "feminine," despite her previous portrayal as a powerful solidier that was stronger than (most of her) her male counterparts.

The mc gets noticable development over the story, and along with her peers, friends, and experience manages to find her path in this strange other world. Satisfyingly good end as well, although I am more of action/xianxia type of guy, I enjoyed this.

Not for women with short attention span

I can see why a lot of people dislike this story. It's not a heart throbbing romance with sparkles and fluff every other panel. It actually has a plot beyond romance: mainly political intrigue, war and infiltration missions [and of course a hint of romance here and there]. I felt the author does a decent job of making the characters logical in their thinking and conversation, even when it came to explaining the transmigration bit. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's not a masterpiece, but it's not a just "okay" or a "time waster" either. I would say it's a very good read.

I must warn you though this genre being labelled as "Action", is unfair. This artist is a romcom shoujo/josei artist than can only draw pretty faces in various poses like every other shoujo/josei artist. So the action scenes are lame.
