When MC meet ML
It becomes the usual Alpha Seme x Omega Uke

This had the potential to be really good but the execution was terrible.

The entire premise is based on the uke not having processed a traumatic experience from his past that leads him to engage in unhealthy coping mechanisms, and then the seme shows up to save him. So already this is starting out pretty cliche.

But instead of the hurt/comfort trope that I expected, the seme forces the uke to relive his trauma and calls him weak. Then as soon as an antagonist shows up, the seme's character does a 180 and shows some decency in order to make the antagonist look like the bad guy when the seme is actually the bigger asshole.

I think the story was trying to comment on the equality struggle between the second genders by showing the dichotomy between the uke's past trauma and his relationship with the seme, but failed miserably because their relationship was built on pheromones and fate, not respect or equality.

the second chapter has rape 🙁
Some people enjoy it and that's fine, this is all fictional so read whatever you want. God knows I also conveniently ignore some morally grey aspects if I like the characters/story enough.
But still, I am so tired of this. There are some amazing omegaverse out there, but too many use the trope as an excuse for rape. I just wanted to enjoy some good omegaverse with a top omega 🙁

But for those who still want to read, there will be some in future chapters.
