Description
Yuzuru is a fifteen year old girl who is attending her first year in Houjou Academy. At her summer job, she met a troublesome rich boy, Renge Kai, who is attending the same school as her. Kai is part of the Kugeka, a class opened only to the rich students of Houjou.
At the end of the summer break she finds out that she has become Kai's "Honey". Like no, when you put yourself to read manga like these, you already imagine what is going to pass xDDDD Yuzuru is idiot like single her, but handsome, of course, and Kai is a chauvinist, sure is but good that the cheese xDDDD in aim, smut, smut and but smut, with a precious drawing, if you are become fond of to Mayu Shinjo I recommend east manga to you, that in history and drawing surpasses thousand times, although, HxHD is not best history than her author has done ..... by the way, is shonen-ai in one of the pairs of the game of Honey Drops, you guess what xD

DDi agreed with most of the comments, this is a typical kanan work. you should not expect more when it comes to the story but the art is a different matter. all i could say is that this book will really makes those cold nights HOT!!! so if your into that stuff then this is definitely a must read!
This is just about the same as Kanan Minami's other works. The "Hero" rapes the "heroine" and the heroine ends up falling in love with the hero, lots of sex, people going after the "hero", not approving of his relationship with the "heroine". Honestly, it isn't anything really special. Not worth really reading. The art isn't bad, though.
The hero (I use that term lightly) of the story abuses the heroine, but she let's his abuses pass, because he supposedly does it because he just luuuuurrrves her so much. Please. She forgives him when he goes too far with his harassment because afterward he would be nice to her and comfort her. Good god. It's a color by numbers for how to get stuck in an abusive relationship. That girl could try getting a will of her own. What she did was the equivalent of prostituting herself.

The heroine's stupid/typical. The guy's agressive/pervy/harrasing. It's a smut that I don't like with a typical boring plot. Poor girl gets "bought" by rich guy..falls in love..blah blah. Don't read it.
honey x honey drops is one of my most favorite manga!!!the story is really good and unique,hot and sweet at the same time

the character development is excellent.i just can't get enough of this!!i want to read more!!!I think the horrific OAV of honey x honey drops killed my enthusiasm but chapter 8 (the latest chapter out as of today) is taking the manga to a direction I don't like. It's not my kind of smut. I'll give it one or two more chapters and see...it's a shame really as it started out quite cute. 
I didn't like this series at all. I felt like nothing had happened when Kai falls in love with Yuzu.. There's no reason for it to happen at the point in the story where it does happen. Besides, Yuzu fits the shoujo heroine stereotype perfectly - stupid and weak. 
Not to mention the fact that Kai is molesting / sexual harassing Yuzu on almost every page. he almost rapes her several times as well. seriously.. if Kai loved Yuzu, he wouldn't do that to her. and why would Yuzu love him when he did that to her?
the art is good. that's the only positive thing I have to say about this series.

There are a few mangas that i can say you must wait until it's all scantalated or translated to read and this is one of them...The story is good and unique, at least in my point of view. Even the way relationships developed i enjoyed but because every volume has almost something that leaves you in angst it's horrible to wait chapter by chapter so we sometimes have to rely on just raws, while patiently waiting so if you cannot handle it i suggest waiting until it's done.
