This is a feel good, low stakes series where the MC gets along with everyone and finds a pure love with the backing to ensure she never sees sadness again. The art is simple and peaceful, which adds to the calming read overall. This is NOT a slow life story even if the first chapter sets up like one. It is a fantasy romance drama under the backdrop of a book cafe. The MC defies her original desires for slow living to instead protect the country she's been reincarnated into due to the main love interest. She is a bit of a Mary Sue character that I wish was explored more though. It would've been nice to see the relaionship evolve under stress or have the MC show any emotion other than gratitude.

Reading this series makes me feel all warm and cozy. Like seriously, living in a quiet snowy forest in a fantasy land where I take care of a cafe full of books without dealing with the inconvenient details because I can use powerful magic? I swear, FL is stealing my dream 🥲 . Aside from that, I especially love how realistic and cautious the FL is. She always makes thoughtful preparations and takes pre cautions in everything; probably the most mature and wise adult FL I've ever seen in this genre. The ML is also a real green flag without being too boring. It's kinda slice of life-ey, so the plot isn't all amazing or ground breaking; but if you're feeling like reading something sweet and short, I really recommend you to give it a try.

Only good things to say about this. The story’s rather simple, but it’s done well. The art is great. There’s some character development, and there’s an easy and nice romance. The fantasy / magic aspect is fun.

Reading this manga made me feel more calm and relaxed and that’s really the best praise I can give for this one.
