Prometheus was sentenced to be imprisoned in the Caucasus Mountains and tortured for 30,000 years to pay for his unforgivable sin of defying the gods in support of humanity.

During the day, an eagle devours his liver. At night, Zeus punishes him by making him solve cold cases throughout the course of history which are testament to the cruelest, most depraved parts of mankind — an unbearable predicament for Prometheus, who loves the human race.
