The loss of a loved one also means a loss of direction and sense, that's what I could feel on every page of this story. Both characters were trying to find their way to move forward again, getting lost or running in circles in the process. Their guilt also plays a big role, but that kinda got wrapped up too quickly at the end. What was totally missing was the involvement of their families/parents, they would have been an emotional support at the very least since they seem to have a good relationship but they were nonexistent.
