Yeah I'm confused too

That rabbit story really could've used clearer presentation to construct and cohesively express its ideas. Should've been pretty cute if executed right.
Third story is frankly just all over the place lol. It lacks clear direction with the narrative, hence the drastic shifts in tone and established atmosphere. A creative plot doesn't necessarily mean it'll always turn out successful.
First story is definitely my favourite. Now that is a new idea executed right and done justice.

It's the originality, and guts to experiment, with ideas and being able to carry it out well enough deserves a 8. Honestly, I would give it an 7, but I just can't ignore the creative effort that goes into it.
Over all the pacing and narrative structure of all three is solid. There aren't any sudden cuts, and no completely out of the blue happenings though they do come very very close to this. The art looks a bit rough and is not really my type. The only story that I would like to talk about in detail is the 2 one because that's mainly why I gave it a 9.
The rabbit story. A lot of confusion could have been avoided if the mangaka had given portrayed the rabbit with more scenes with Iijima (the protagonist) which would bring out the essence of the rabbit which would help distinguishing it from Kato. Moreover, the way that the rabbit comes to be in Iijima's house also creates confusion. Another major downside (there are others too), was the introduction of Kato into Iijima's life. While it is important for the denouement still the setting, Kato's attire and the conversation they have is not a good choice because it does not take full advantage of the visual medium. And the BIGGEST problem of all is the form and personality the rabbit has. It would have been better to align temporally the form the rabbit gets and Kato or the rabbit's personality with each other to make a stronger narrative. And just to be clear
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
The rabbit is shown to us readers in the form of Kato; everyone else see the rabbit as it really is, a rabbit. Kato does not change into a rabbit, nor does the rabbit change into Kato

In short, I have a lot of problems with the execution of this idea, but I absolutely love the idea itself and the feelings portrayed through it.

all the stories are all more to shounen ai rather than yaoi. moreover the one and only interesting story is the last one and that's it. sad to say even that last story is not that good either. the "BUNNY" story is the WORST seriously, if you want a good read then just skip this one

Bit of a fail really

So it was off to a great start. The art was good, the characters and storyline were intriguing, if not a little confusing in places. But then it started to get towards the climax of the story where everything is explained it was just a bit of factual nonsense, *possible spoilers ahead* the guy asks the main character if he will spend eternity with him, the main character says no and they walk off into the sunset wondering what will become of them all.
What kind of story is that? I'm not even sure whether there was an ending. Perhaps the last chapter was lost by the scanlation team? (and that was sarcasm for those of you who didn't get it)
Not recommended. Shame, it had potential.

I read this bec i was curious about the rabbit story LOL. The manga consist of 3 story and I'm surprise that it was actually good. MY favorite was the 1st story and i just wish it coulda been longer =/. Just to clear up 2nd story, the man rabbit or w/e you call it is actually the owner pretending to be a rabbit so there's nothing weird about it. The 3rd story is very confusing at first but explain it further at the next chapter. Story 3 is actually shonen ai or slashable. Excluding 3rd story i will give it a 9 and a 5 for 3rd story.

On the whole this was a good manga, I really like the first and third stories. The third story though was kind of weird. Maybe there is some cultural reference that I am not familiar with involving a rabbit, that is being referenced in the second story.

i've not yet read a story by yamakami-sensei that didn't get to me on some level. these three are definitely on the odd side -- especially "beside", about the huge white rabbit who to us readers looks exactly like his human owner (but everyone in the story sees him as a rabbit. well, there is one scene where that's in question, *snicker*). that doesn't exactly make it in the "suspension of disbelief" department, but is interestingly enough worth reading anyway because of the emotional content. the first story is really funny at its denouement, and the third story starts out creepy but has an interesting ending -- i would really like to see that one expanded into a series.
