chapter 25 is peak fiction my lord, story is super cute if you can get past the fan service (I enjoy it but I know it's not everyones cup of tea) its quite an interesting as well

Yuri works are not exactly known to be thoroughly ridiculous and off-the-wall, but that's where this works comes in.

It sure stands out in the genre and is set apart from most -- perhaps a bit too much. I assume that's where some bad reviews come from.

There's no real romance other than an MC who is too stubborn to realize she's gay, and a harem of girls who interact with each other with pretty much every sentiment writing could allow. The story grows and the characters evolve, but everyone is too immature (or plain dumb) to let any real romantic progress develop.

If you want impeccable writing and big entertainment value, this is it. If you will skim through it until some couple gets together or something resembling progress happens, you're reading the wrong manga (also you're reading manga wrong).

Funny and Cute

You can tell that after their earlier, rougher forays into writing yuri, the author really knows what they're doing. Also despite the limitations of their style, the art gets surprisingly good, especially by Volume 4.

I can definitely think of reasons why people would want to avoid a series that starts with an antisocial heroine who spikes girls' drinks.

Still, the cast of characters is pretty charismatic and the romance threads are pretty compelling. In Mochi's previous, more incest-centric works my biggest complaint was that the central relationships felt like foregone conclusions and so, by extension, a little rote. By contrast, I'm at the edge of my seat wondering what will come next as of this writing (Ch. 26).

A real tour de force in the most recent chapters.
