A carbon copy of “Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill“, but credit where credit’s due, this story has more of a serious feeling to it. A cruel beginning, every town has a bittersweet taste to it, as if no matter who the MC meets, they most likely will be left behind.

And it manages the “reincarnation” trope in a way I’ve never seen before, really interesting! Give it a read for sure!

This manga takes a more realistic approach to the isekai genre than most. There's magic, skills, monsters, the usual fanfare. Except this time our MC is reborn in the body of a weak girl. She's treated well by her family and village until that fateful day.

She gets measured for skill. Zero stars.


Most isekai gloss over this stuff and immediately move onto building the harem or defeating the local "young master." Not this story. Our MC has nothing and, though she's occasionally lucky, in dire situations she barely scrapes through. Not once, yet, has she been the star of the day. Every time she's asking others for help and trying her hardest to survive. She's eight years old! What would you expect?

This gets the balance of an unforgiving world with (some) good people very well. Ivy and Sora are great

Cute, easy enough to follow along, entertaining so far. The main character is a little girl who is forced to leave home in order to survive. Though weak, she has a couple of years experience living in the forest and learning how to depend almost solely on nature. This type of genre is fun to experiment with, and this manga is interestingly and cute idea which is fairly different from the others I've come across.
