A fun romance at first with a great twist part way through. I liked the characters and art. But then after a time skip the plot just got so tedious and dragged on so long. Eventually I just gave up.

UPDATE - I finished reading the story today. I felt like I had already dedicated so much time that I just needed to see it through to the end so that’s why I chose to finish it even though I was struggling with the slow pace. I’ll just say I like the story of the side couple way more than the main CP. I think the reason I felt more connected with the side couple was because they both showed genuine interest in each other in the end finally getting the timing right. Some thing about the main CP just didn’t connect with me and I’m not sure what it was. To be honest I think it was just all the back-and-forth in the FL‘s mind about everything. This lady took over thinking to a whole other level.

We do have a happy ending here for both couples.

I love the art and the age gap doesn’t bother me because there’s no dubious consent or trigger warnings in this story. But at over 100 chapters to say this is a slow burn is a f*cking understatement at this point.

Of course, I understand at the beginning the FL choosing not to move on her feelings she’s having because at the very start of the story, it almost seems like even she is confused about how she feels about the ML. Plus the ML is in high school at the time and she is in her late 20’s so I understand the angst and the hesitation.

But after the time skip, and when it’s pretty clear she realizes she’s has feelings and he still have feelings all this back-and-forth and her mind is frustrating and frankly unfair to the ML.

So I’m trying to keep reading but I don’t know how much longer I’ll be able to stay on the ship

He's in high school and she's 28, Even though he's the one pursuing her. He just comes off as pathetical. She comes off quite disgusting as well. She's already engaged/married in the later half and still meets up with the younger guy.
